HKDA series non-heating chemical driers have -40°C fixed (-70°C optional) dew point. These driers are fit for applications needing clean and quite dry compressed air. You need to use inlet and outlet filters with the driers. By means of it, you will make sure that compressed air is clean and also humectants in the product are maintained.

Working principle

These products with the double-tank separate the water in the compressed air by means of humectants with wide surface area/mass and high hygroscopic impact resistance continuously. Drying process is performed as while one of the tanks dries the compressed air, 18% of dried air is transferred to the other tank via an orifice and this tank is regenerated. No heater is used during regeneration. Tank where the dehumidifier saturated with moisture is dried via the super dry air at atmospheric pressure. Rate of ejecting air of the absorbers (by the required dew point) can be adjusted by the operating conditions of the drier.

Super dry air is transferred to the tank with wet dehumidifier in the reverse direction and by this means, water held in the humectants is separated. HHKDA type driers equalize the pressure before replacing the tank. Surge pressure in the line and wear of humectants is prevented. Tank to hold the moisture again is pressurized again before starting to hold the moisture. Direction of flow at the moment of re-pressurizing and at the moment silencer discharges the moisture is top-down however, it is the reverse direction of the air at the moment of drying.
